Sharmake was born and raised in Mogadishu, Somalia. He went to Hodan primary and Sheikh Hasan Barsame High School in Mogadishu, Somalia. He has a Bachelor and a Masters degree, and currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate for Computer Science.
